We are The Nor–Folk.

The Nor–Folk way of life is living deliberately. It’s doing something once and doing it well.

Good design has its foundations in observation. In paying attention to the smallest of details. It’s understanding expansive living doesn’t have to be expensive living. It’s about living just right. Pausing. Easing up. Unrushed moments and uncomplicated days. And it’s about family life being as stress-free and practical as possible. Finding happiness and beauty in order and calm.

We make more of the minimal. We believe simple designs lead to a simpler life. Design at its best is within everyone’s reach. It opens up space and a place in our lives: physical space, space for thought and space to simply be. Finding everything in enough.

This is our journey of designing a simpler life.

Fiona Burrage.

As a photographer and designer, I specialise in interiors and portraiture collaborating with brands and individuals to develop their identities and tell their stories.

A proud graduate of Graphic Design from Norwich University of the Arts, I have over a decade of experience as a branding consultant, project manager and marketer.

A co-director of award-winning branding consultancy, The Click, I also design the Nor-Folk’s apparel and products, shoot our campaigns and manage our social media and brand collaborations.

I undertake the following types of projects:

– photography commissions (specialising in interiors, architecture, people and places)

– design collaborations

– branding

– journal feature.

Photography commissions.

Good design has its foundations in observation and I love to look at the world through a lens.

Creating pictures for both print and digital, my images capture a moment in time, or convey a message or mood. From brand campaigns to look books, interior shoots to portraits, I’ll find the most powerful subject matter to tell your story.

Brands we work with.

As creatives, we thrive on working with likeminded people all across the world and are at our happiest collaborating with brands that share our values and our love of simple design.

Here are just some of the people we’ve worked with.
