If you put me on the spot, I’d have to say my favourite city is London. I was born just outside of East London, in Essex. School trips would often involve visits to London, one of my earliest memories was London Zoo. As I grew up, my dad and I would go and watch our beloved Spurs at White Hart Lane. I find London intoxicating. I love the hustle and bustle.

8 cities in 8 months – Sheffield (and surrounds).

Both Bobby and I had visited the Peak District as teenagers, but I’d never been to Sheffield. My best friend lives in Leeds, so I knew all too well about Sheffield’s creative scene and I was excited to explore the surrounding area as a family.

8 cities in 8 months – York & Wakefield.

The second city in our '8 cities in 8 months' tour was York. I’d heard York was similar in size and architecture to our home, Norwich. However, the reason we chose York was for their highly regarded Christmas market and festivities. We thought it would be a magical place to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary and get us in to the Christmas spirit.

Travel is a big part of what inspires and motivates Bobby and I. We’re observers and thinkers.
